Thread: flying through jamaica?

I am flying on Air Jamaica through Montego Bay with my mother and sister. However, we are stopping in Jamaica for 2 days for a mini-vacation, and I was wondering if this would affect the allowance of luggage. I know that a few months ago when I stopped in Europe on the way to India, I was only allowed 1 bag instead of 2. Does anyone have any info on this?

I haven't flown from (or to) the caribbean in a long time, but as far as I remember (back to 2003), I was allowed two bags to check in (I think it was 70 pounds each, but I don't remember)....
