Thread: off-campus housing: true blue or grand anse?

Debating to get an apartment in true blue or grand anse.
Can you give me your opinion?

pay $800 for 1br in Cool Runnings or $600 for Mr. Japal's apartment?

I've heard good and bad about the Cool Running landlord. Charles's holidays are occupied because the stuff left by the upper classes, otherwise, it seems the best around true blue. What do you think? Thanks in advance.

When I was an incoming first term student looking for off-campus housing, I also heard good/bad things about Cool Runnings. I thought them a little pricey for what you get, so I went elsewhere. Most who live there like it alright, I think, but in my opinion there are better options. (Of course, Ivan may have changed this now.)

Another thing to consider is this: is the area you'll be living in hilly? Grand Anse is flat, close to shopping, and fairly easy to catch a bus from. Alternatively, if you live in True Blue, you'll be "closer" to campus (and the places are usually a bit nicer), but you may be walking up/down hills to catch a bus, which sucks, especially after a trip to the grocery store or in the rain! Some True Blue places would be inconvenient in this regard, unless you're planning to get a car.
