10529 points you may want to speak with Dr. Goodmurphy(anatomy prof) before you get a motorcycle in grenada.
? Why would I want to do that? I really hope that this isn't a motorcycles are dangerous lecture. I have heard it ALL before and I will still take the risk of riding. I appreciate everyone looking out for what they think is my best interest. If however i should talk to the professor of anatomy about where I can get a license or buy one I will do that thank you
have you seen the roads in grenada? Do you mind riding in the rain? I only saw a few motorcycles, some get mopeds. I dont think there are many on the island, but Dr. Goodmurphy had one, but i'm not sure if its still running after the crash.
yea i heard the roads are not too great, as for riding in the rain i live in upstate NY and it rains way too often so yea those once piece coveralls is always a necessity hereas well as in grenada. I'll ask dr goodmurphy about motorcycles in grenada but I have an inkling how that conversation will go. For me it is an easier way to get around, cheaper on gas and parts, and a good way to relax. and hey if the roads stink thats why you get a dirtbike with dirt tires and an off road suspension

510 points I personally think a motorcycle in Grenada is closer than anything to a death sentence. But of course the final decision is up to you. I suggest you wait til you wait here to access the situation. You have not seen the roads nor the way people drive in Grenada.
Grenada has one of the highest traffic fatality rates anywhere... This is due to:
1) The way they drive... quite agressively.
2) Lack of adaquate pre-hospital and hospital trauma care. Last term saw a rather bad crash on the TV... 2 and a half hours later the TV crews were there, but no EMS/Fire Department, and living patients still entrapped in the wreckage.
i think waiting to see what the situation is like is a valid idea i don't have a death wish and you guys are right you do have more experience on grenadian roads than i do![]()
