Yet again...2nd term books

Pardon my laziness. I'm sure there are a plethora of posts on this topic, hower', I was wondering if all books for 2nd term may be purchased at the book store in Grenada.

Thanks you.

P.S. If any cool second termers out there would be interested in selling their books to ME- I'd prolly buy em. (please PM) I know some of yaw have two copies of those books. the ones on LI and the ones on The Rock.

...

Usually you order next term's books the term before. Since we didn't get a chance to do that this term, the rumor is that the school has ordered enough books for everyone, and then you just pick up (and pay for) the ones you want.

you dont need any books from SGU for 2nd term. dont even waste your money on the giant kandel neuro textbook (awesome reference book for your office someday) otherwise useless for neuro.

all i recommend for 2nd term is bring a BRS physiology book and a Pre-Test physiology test bank book. dont buy the BRS book for neuro - its useless for the course but appropriate for the boards. for immuno get the coily book by stanley and dont waste your money on a brs book for that either.

neuro is all out of the packets they give you and physio is top notch teaching out of the packets as well.

well...

some of us are book people, so I would take any advice with a grain of salt.
That said, yes, for the most part you can do well in 2nd term classes without many of the "required" books.

The Phys dept is great so the notes and class are sufficient ( I wouldn't even recommend the BRS except for questions), but the Phys text is great for the fig they use and it will be needed for Nutrition(though haven't heard if it really necessary(Nick? is it?) so its good for two classes. Also I suspect the phys dept chose not to have any book only questions for our term because most of us didn't have access to the book(that won't be the case for the terms in grenada).

Neuro- not sure what to say about that class...book on translating genglish? Neuro pre test is good for questions.

Immuno - NEED THE BOOK!!!! lecture not so much.
