pet options...

I realize that most people (read vet students) want to bring their pets down and maybe study a little living anatomy...
I have other options.
Why don't the students leave their pets at home and avoid paying the $250 duty on them. Yes there is duty tax on animals according to how much the duty officer wants to tax you. In addition you have to prove all their immunizations.
Alternatively you can adopt one of the many thousands of dogs and cats that roam Grenada. All you have to do is go to upper true blue and kidnap a pet of your liking. Students living around these areas will be your servants forever and may even give you money to take them away.
I'm sure the pets will cherish your offering because for once they will have real food and shoes thrown at them (especially during exams). The school will be indebted to you for saving the custodial staff from cleaning out the animal dung that students' pets leave behind as a donation to grenada. furthermore you will save the Grenadian government from putting out a decree on owners who have pets that put people in the hospital from bites. A law was enacted for just that purpose a few months ago!!!
My next door neighbor had adopted two such dogs. She was pretty busy picking out the fleas from their legs (all 7 legs). yes one dog had three legs due to an amputation (umbilical cord problems). We called the dog number 3. (You can even study anatomy on them. ie Ahah so this is where the Sartorius muscle is supposed to be...)
furthermore my wife will be eternally gratefull due to a near bitting accident in front of the Calabash Hotel in LAE. The only thing that saved her was her 200lb husband whose sympathetic autonomic system was activated with tons of epinephrine overriding the sacral 2,3,4 nerves.
Anyway these are very good options.
Good luck
Anyway I am a pet lover...as long as my personal physical integrity is not challenged. Ever wonder why goodmurphy mentions Grenadian dogs in his autonomic lectures?
