my friend was down in st. george's before ivan, and she said that her friend was told to remove his camouflage shorts, so he had to go back on the ship and change.
maybe it has something to do with the incident in 1983?
have you guys heard of this kind of thing before? what else should prospective "newbies" stay away from....

you are correct. no camo of any sort. it has to do with the intervention in 1983. 1st time its a warning 2nd time its a fine and you have to walk home naked. How i know this? well dr. nick could always be seen walking home naked. first time i saw him i thought it was a yeti monster but then i thought how close to the equator i was and realized it was just dr. nick. "hey hey everybody.....im naked"

i agree. rumors are what you want to stay away from. the worst rumors come from upper termers. it seems like the 2nd termers hose the 1st termers and the 4th termers hose the 2nd termers. maybe a thread should be started to defunk rumors.

A friend of mine is i the Canadian Reserves and when he went through customs they were going to confiscate his military hat. That is until he told them that was Canada government property. Then they just said to keep it packed away.

As for the reports of me walking naked through the streets of Grenada... i will not confirm nor deny such accounts. Perhaps i'm the first member of the Grenada Nudist Colony?
