One last but IMPORTANT piece of advice..
Stay away fromt he Manchanel(sic?) Tree - and don't ever eat its fruit which looks like small green apple, or as we would call back at home, a "crab apple." Very noxious and poisionous - if eaten will cause blisters from mouth to anus and can kill. If it rains, do not seek shelter under this tree as the fruit's and leaves' toxin will be carried with the rain drops and irritate the skin. These trees can be found on Grand Anse Beach, and are found on most Caribbean islands, and even as far north as Key West, FL. These trees typically grow on the beach and not inland.
Hopefully this will be my last piece of advice for today! |
