Ok, this might be a dumb question but seriously ladies, is there a salon/spa where I can get my eyebrows, pedicure, manicure etc done? I don't intend to look scruffy in med school

If there are any resorts nearby, I am sure they would have it.

hmm i am taking a wild guess here....i dont know how many great spas and salons are in Grenda..especially after Ivan came roaring through..you might want to consider another island if you cannot live without those goodies......

I think you can learn to do your own eyebrows. It's not hard.

As for manis and pedis....Playing in sand is always a good alternative!

Most businesses are up and running, according to the grenadian news websites. There are salons in grenada. There is one located in cool runnings apartments which is quite popular. You wil be able to look pretty in grenada! :P

actually there are a number of world class spas in grenada- LaSource is mentioned in many travel mags as is the Spice Island Resort. Both are reported to open again in 2005 (we'll see). The Allamanda had a great deal for students, 40US /hour for a massage, LaSource's pedicure was the cheapest on the island - something like 27US. So there were a number of great places to relax- don't know what the sitution will be when we get back though.
