Calling Admissions Office - again and again and again?!?
I submitted my ap about 2 weeks ago and just received a letter about my application status.
the letter (not quite a letter by rather a fill in the form letter) telling me that my 'file has been presented to the Board of Admissions for consideration of an interview.' Anyone else received this letter...? I hear a lot of you have received acceptances or invitation for an interview within two days after submitting your apps...I'm also wondering if I should call the admissions office and spill my guts out and express to them my sincere desire to attend SGU. How does it sound? Is it too much and would it hurt my chances...should I be patient and hope that my app gets through in a relatively timely manner... Just patiently waiting to see any news of my future...that's all. |

be patient
I dont think that you have anything to worry about as of now. Many of the people posting on this site are nervous about their future or else they wouldnt be on here checking up on SGU. I suggest you give the admissions committee a couple of weeks to look over the application before you begin calling.
(By the way, what were your numbers?) If after two weeks you dont hear anything, go ahead and give them a friendly call. E-mail works just as well. I expect that you'll be getting your interview offer soon, and all of your worries will be forgotten. Good luck and Take Care |
