as for the profit discussion, you just don't know how much they are making from each student, is it 10%, or 25% or 40% of the tuition, no one knows.
what does it matter how much profit they make? even if its 100% sgu states that they give you the opportunity to earn an MD and they do a pretty good job of allowing people to get through school, earn an MD, and even a fair shot at getting a residency spot...guess what?if they want to charge 100K /yr in tuition, there will be people who will pay it...if you think the tuition is too steep or its somehow not fair that sgu charges what the market will allow...don't pay it...not one is forcing you to do so...
