Thread: August 2012 Charter Foundation?

Hey Everyone!

I know this is super early considering I just had my interview and its only february, but I was wondering if there was anyone else that is interviewing for the FTM program starting August 2012 and seriously considering going, or accepted into the program?!

Man I'm nervous.

Any idea of when we are getting housing assignments??

They send out roommate stuff sometimes, a few weeks prior and you will find out WHERE you will be living when you get to the airport and are greeted by RAs.

For those of you joining the Charter's Foundation Program for August 2012, what were your stats (i.e. GPA, MCAT). The thing is, I was interviewed for the MPH path to MD, but I later sent my admissions counselor my acceptance letters for direct entry into Ross and AUC for Fall 2012. I was hoping the SGU admissions committee would at least reconsider my app so that I can at least be accepted for the CFP. My stats were cGPA: 3.3, sGPA 3.0, premedGPA: 3.5. MCAT: 23R. I graduated from a highly prestigious university, Georgia Institute of Technology, where my GPA was enough to get me cum laude.

3.0 Overall GPA, somewhere around 2.7 SGPA, 34 MCAT.

I was admitted to the CFP early mid june and just sent in my deposit a week ago. Not so excited abt the poor choice in housing but atleast its still a great opportunity!

Am filling out my housing paper right now and it asks for roommate request so if anyone is interested, let me know I will probably send it in a couple days.

I'm in the process of accepting the cfp as well, saw your post about looking for a roommate, definitely interested. Not sure the best way to communicate, but let me know if you've submitted your stuff yet. Hope to see you soon!
