I got 224 out 283. It is a C. To get a B, I need 224.5.
Will Dr. Ross will give me that 0.5???

510 points that sucks...we've all been there before...she prolly won't but there's no harm in tryin
but since it is Ross...she was most likely say no

No she won't. What you can do is check your scatron for errors.
Is Dr Q still there or did he finally get to retire?
No offense to the OP, but I always wondered why every syllabus says that points are non-negotiable and that requests for extra points, no matter how few, will not be accepted. I always thought to myself: "Who, when they miss a grade by a point, would feel entitled enough to ask for free points that they didn't earn? That's really unprofessional, especially when it says right there in the syllabus not to ask and considering that there are plenty of others who won't benefit from your free points." I guess there are people out there who think they're special and their half point is more important than mine.
Just a reminder, use of proper names are against the TOS; please edit to avoid infraction. Thank you.

In this case, regarding the IGE group project, there were bonus points to be had based on performance. This is the only situation that I have been previewed to that I would say that it is plausible to ask the department to review a groups project and presentation and give it a second consideration for a bonus point or two. especially when certain groups were awarded as many as 9 bonus points (raw points) for their projects. That's an extra 3.2% added to their grade.
