What does this mean? ACGME approved residencies in 41 states?
I just received a CDROM with maps, photos and video clips from SGU. There is one map that has dots all across the US that says ACGME approved residencies in 41 states.
Does this mean we can only get residencies in those 41 states or are ACGME residencies a special type? Thanks and sorry if this sounds clueless. My major issue is that I'm from Michigan and there were no "spots" in Michigan. I just want to make sure I can get residency in Michigan without a problem. Thanks again, Curious Cat |

Nope... I think it's just an advertisement.... like we've had graduates recently place in all these states(or can regularly sort of thing). SGU's licensed for the full 50. I looked thru the residency lists and SGUers have got EM, radiology, IM, anesthesiology etc in MI. We just got a new affiliate in there too with say 15-20 electives available...
