Using Google Chrome with Sonic Foundry

I'm having a hard time using Sonic Foundry on Google Chrome. The vids play fine but I lost the speed up/slow down options. I went to Mediasite's website and they say that Chrome is a supported browser. I had this problem once with Firefox and the solution was to install the Windows Media Player Plugin for Firefox. I tried doing that for Chrome, but I couldn't find a plugin specifically for Chrome. If anyone else knows how I can fix this, please let me know.

As far as I know, the speed button is a feature only supported by the windows media player component of Internet Explorer. Just use Internet Explorer if only to view Sonic Foundry.

Only Internet Explorer gives you the speed control settings.

I use Chrome so I installed this extension called IE Tab (can't give you a link because my post count is too low) and it works great with sonic foundry. I just get on the sonic foundry page, hit the IE Tab button and the page is viewed in the browser as if it the tab is IE

If you are using a Mac, I don't know how this would work. And, if you are using Linux, you can easily install IEs4Linux.

Thanks to both of you. IE Tab works great. If anyone else is looking for this solution just go to the Chrome Extensions page and search IE Tab. Thanks again!

Sonic Foundry + IE = Windows Media Player

Sonic Foundry + any other browser = Silverlight

(Silverlight is like Microsoft's version of Flash)
