Duty on food items
Hi Guys,
Do the custom officers at the airport in Grenada charge duty on food items as well (i.e. certain food items that one would really like to bring in..but ofcourse they are all canned/packaged)? Has anyone ever paid duty on them even if they were to go through your baggage? Cheers, KC

Duty
Technically the duty is 50% on food items. However, most of the time, the customs officers just want the 5% on your computer, and the rest they leave alone.
See: http://www.myskymail.us/grenada/Rates.asp for customs duties on common items.... |
