Hey guys,

Does anyone know what we should put for the following dates, assuming that we are graduating in May 2012:

- "Date you will complete requirements for the final medical diploma"
- "Expected date of graduation"
- "Date medical diploma expected to be issued"
- "Start and end dates of internship"

"Title of medical degree" I'm assuming is M.D. Any help or links would be greatly appreciated.

The dates are self-explanatory, they are the dates you will finish clinicals and graduate, for you that would be May and June 2012. Diploma issued will be June 2012. Don't remember the internship thing, lol, ask someone who just did it....my memory is failing me

Don't just put M.D. on the app though, put the full "Doctor of Medicine" or it may come back to you....

Thanks K-girl! I definitely would have put May for the graduation date if not for you. Apparently the internship dates are the start and end dates of your clincals.

actually your graduation date WILL be the completion date...so if you are for may completion, then your graduation date is may....there are 3 ,maybe 4 now (dec, may, june and maybe april) but only one graduation ceremony...in june.

if you haven't done an internship, you don't have to put any dates...remember true FMGs may have already done an internship elsewhere.

hmmm.. my completion date was may (8th i think)(though i was finished with rotations in april) and that was the date on my diploma

lol, well, you actually have a diploma....I'll be done rotations in May and they told me that my grad date was June (for the issuing of diploma, I think b/c I'm missing the May date).

But really dig, just put down May or June and it won't really matter, it's an expected date. I didn't worry too much about it
