*** TERM 5/6: Pathophys, Pharm, ICM, BSFCR ***

Our members don't see this ad.
It's that time again.

Has anyone been able to check Angel for the ICM small groups for Tuesday AM? Are we all just going to show up at SD6 at 8 am? If anyone knows anything, please do tell.

Thanks.

It looks like they finally got ANGEL working and the schedules are up for week 1. I assume the northern classroom is the one on the 6th floor of SD6 where we had CPD?

For those that didn't go to the intro lecture for pathophys, it looks like our class will be the first to write the CBSE at the end of the term.

Also, Dr. B mentioned that the step 1 pass rate went up from 84 to 90% for last term's class. Not sure how factual the data is, but if true, that is pretty impressive.

What is CBSE? Is that the NBME step 1 practice test or shelf exam? If it is one of them, that is great news for you guys. You will get a baseline before you start studying for step1. I had to pay 45$US for my baseline.

But it could also be the same thing that was offered to us last term... which was voluntary. The only unfortunate thing about that exam is it was durring the term and not at the end.

The pass rate was emailed to us earlier in the summer and it looks the pass rate is higher than 90%. It is actually 100% for those with above 3.0 GPA. (i think it was 3.0 GPA, but it could of been above 2.5GPA). One of the school administraters posted something on VMD as well.. you can go searching for it if you like.

What was I thinking...

actually I wish they did away with BSCEII and instead do an NBME exam. Maybe have pass at 165-170 (instead of the 185 at NBME). Just to give people a break.

Yea I agree.. I don't see the purpose of the BSCEII now that they are giving us an NBME to write.

Those step 1 stats for your class are awesome.. I didn't read the post you mentioned but I'll search for it.
