Thread: Book Recommendations for Term 5?

For those of you who've completed your sentence of Grenadian imprisonment, do you recommend any books for what is now known simply as Term 5? Did you find your books from CPD and Pathology sufficed for Clinical Skills and Pathophysiology, respectively? And what do you recommend for Pharmacology?

Use the notes and First Aid/Kaplan

I found the notes pretty awful for Term 5/6. There were some exceptions that were decent, but overall not so hot. For pathophys I went back to my Path notes, Rapid Review and Robbins, with the occasional reference to Merck to fill in clinical information when needed. The Lange book they recommended last term wasn't too bad for most of the subjects. You might want books in areas that you are weakest. If your physiology wasn't strong I'd bring a physio book that you like along with you.
For pharm I liked Lippencott, and probably would have purchased the Katztung if I had it to do all over again. The pharm notes were so variable. There were some fantastic handouts, some overloaded with details and others that were only good for scrap paper.
