There are quite a few attractive and bright individuals at SGU. So, I want to know if it would be a good idea to start a 'relationship' with someone while in med school, considering the fact that we are on a small island and possibly in the same class? Can anything good come out of that?

why not? Many have dated and gotten married as well while in medical school. As long as you can balance it.

Why not, I met my wife on the island. Now we are residents at the same hospital. As long as the person is supportive of your academics and you like them, its ok. you are allowed to have a life during med school.

med school must be hard... turning people into ... "the lover of animals"...

I hope that everyone old enough to attend med school is mature enough to handle a relationship and course work. They aren't mutually exclusive.
