actually if you read the post....i refer to what that guy's suggestion was not to the actual person. Nothing personal to whoever said it, but I strongly disagreed with what he said. And if you're harping on that, you're frankly missing the point. I mentioned him because he was respected while he was giving his opinion during the open forum (no one boo'ed, no one interrupted) ... to contrast him to the onstage sga rep who got boo'ed.

Pharmacology isn't too bad because the experienced course director is still in charge and doing a good job. Pathophysiology is another story. It was always somewhat unwieldy, but at St. Vincent, it worked. With a new location, course director, and infrastructure, combined with better ideas of how to run the course, Pathophysiology isn't holding together well. At its best, it is a tough course. At its worst, well, all of you know the answer to that.

We have to be careful what we wish for. I understand why students wanted out of St. Vincent (such a shame, too bad the problems couldn't be solved). It's going to take awhile for things to settle down, starting from scratch....
personal info AoK....against TOS...please edit....

but funny that you posted the same sentiment that i did a few pages back...who would have thought you would agree with me....

I'm just glad CV is over. That was my hardest system excepting pulmonary (even when taught well since we were lucky enough to have Dr. P in physio for cardio) with the worst prof this term.

I hear the second termers are *still* stuck with our GI physio prof? Biochem totally carried me through that one. She was baad.

I have felt a bit guinea pigged in our class, though certainly not on par with suffering incurred by Ivan students (especially the non-medical students) or members of the charter class or such. This term just struck me as being reversibly and almost deliberate, rather than normal blundering, so it seemed to warrant special address. There are still students on the island that were there for Ivan because they were MPH or such, and they get the distinct pleasure of dealing with *all* of it, so I feel for them.

Haven't started GI yet though, so can't comment on the prof; trying to power through pharm since those drug names just do not want to stick in my head.

I'm keeping my hopes up though. The right people seem to be listening.
