SGU grad gets most competitive position in the country
I was so excited to hear this that I had to share.
An SGU grad, after a year or two of research (I'm not sure), has earned a categorical position at UTSW as a Plastic Surgery Resident. This is arguably the best Plastics program in the country in medicine's most competitive field. I would throw a parade for this person if I could. Keep plugging away, topher. |

there are quite a few sucessful grads in great residency spots. I know someone in radiology at harvard, another who turned down harvard for a place close to home, some fellows at hopkins etc..

I apologize if your response already answered that; I'm still a little unsure on the terminology of the post-med school stuff. The year between graduating med school and starting internship/residency is the translational year?
