Transferring from a US School to SGU

    Hi,

My school is making me repeat the whole third year which I am not agree. I know some proffesors do not like me and they are the ones behind this bad experience in my life.
I already passed step 1. Do you think can I transfer to SGU? Can SGU give me some credits for my third year rotations?
Please I need some help and sincere answers.
    Thanks.

No...sgu does not take transfer...and why are you spamming the fora with the same question? post in the main med forum if it is not school specific...

    Sorry Roska
But I only have two options so I do not need to post in the main med forum.

    Thank you for your replies.
I know that I have to repeat third year again even in SGU...but I just wonder if SGU will accept my transferring? just in case they kick me out of the school.

no. youd have to very likely have to repeat at sgu from day one. This is a bad decision. Finish out your lessons in the US and demonstrate that you can and will work for your education as requested. It will look like a dodge otherwise.

Are you able to avoid these professors in the future? I find it difficult to believe that they would arbitrarily decide not to like you and cause you such grief without you have an avenue of recourse. Would you be willing to elaborate on this point?

Regardless, SGU officially (de juris) requires you to complete at least two years at the school before being eligible to graduate. However, the de facto standard is that SGU does not accept transfer students. You could certainly start again from day 1, but I'm going to assume you'd like to avoid that. My suggestion would be to contact a different US-based school and enquire about transferring; that may be an option for you. Alternately, you could look into other carib schools (Ross, AUC, Saba), but be aware that you may have a very hard time getting licenced as a physician.

    Best of luck!

I'd suck it up and remain where you are. You need to accept some responsibility for the situation at hand-professors don't generally go around making people fail just because they don't like them-it takes two to tango.

Best of luck, stay where you are.
