It's casual, khakis and polo knit shirt or a nice shirt should be ok for guys. Relax, it's more of a social event, a chance to meet some of your fellow classmates and reduce some of the anxiety of coming down to Grenada without knowing anyone.

You can also talk to people who live on the island who can address any question/concerns that you may have, although most of these can be answered on value md now.

Here's a good source of info and a good read: SGU Guides the rumors were true

What do you mean by anyone? I think it's more geared towards nearly accepted students, but perhaps current students can come to meet new students and provide information. My invitation said to RSVP.

Orientation is only for accepted students. There are also information sessions that are open to all (can check out sgu.edu for a current schedule) but orientation is for accepted students to come and meet each other and also if you haven't made up your mind to attend or not, a chance to ask more questions, etc. Kind of like a "Second Look."
