i tell you what that 3rd exam my term was a doosy!! i thought for sure i lost my "A"on that one, kept counting the questions to make sure i didn't miss too many..I definitely needed the bonus points for not to drop down to a "B".

I think I must be misunderstanding what you said....
it depends on your personal learning style, of course, but for me, any a great many others I found the majority of lab time to be a waste simply because the slide presentations tend to be far too detailed for anyone to actually remember during a given session...why throw 20+ detailed slides up...? are you actually learning in all those hours spend? perhaps a little ...but i have to say that i believe you'd learn a heck of a lot more if you spent that time going over less material and sticking to the important points...and per slide, my opinion is there should be no more than 4-5 of those

i'd also highly recommend listening to Barone's Kaplan recorded lectures....ask around....lotsa people have em there though you'll need about 100gigs free if u want ALL the kaplan videos....if they are anything like his in person stuff, its golden and, for what its worth,

if i were doin path again i'd
1) listen to Barone's lectures + get ahold of a kaplan path book and
2) make sure to look at the handouts they give in class and
3) minimize your lab time

so can we type "Barone" or just "Goljan" full name? <smirk>

I've been told now by two 3rd term students that we have 4 hours of lab/day Mon-Fri but it looks to me, from reading the syllabus and looking at the schedule, that it's going to be 2 hours of lab/day Mon-Thurs.

Can any upper-termers confirm what the lab schedule was for them?

Thanks

I can tell you, I for one, will not be spending 4 hrs per day in a pathology lab. That is ridiculous and I don't think that is so.

And if you have done micro in undergrad, with a lab, you can omit micro's Friday lab.Show them a transcript. I for one loathe lab (where actively graded on one's performance (two left thumbs or otherwise))and group activities.

let's clear this up, to those that went before. The question is, is each path lab 4 (FOUR) hours long? Say it ain't so.
