We did really well in Neuro this year, some top programs! The list isn't complete yet.

gotta love it how SGU gloats about its grads, yet they havent done jack pooh pooh to help anyone. Its great to see SGU take credit for that one person who scrambled into ER down in florida. Even that person himself is baffled. Someone should ask the poor souls who did not match and they have to struggle to scramble themselves without any help from this money making machine called SGU.

i don't think they have set up the link for the 2009 pgy-2 positions yet- don't worry your optho will eventually show up!!

why shouldn't SGU take credit in this? they're the ones that taught us if these students went to some other med school than that school would be gloating and taking credit for their good fortune. And how would you want SGU to help? fill out the application for you? interview for you? I don't think it's so much that SGU takes credit for people who match as much as they say look at how smart our students are.

Yes this school makes a lot of money but they do a lot more for their student body than other carib schools like Ross..

i'm really not sure where this rant is coming from--did someone from OCG take credit for the scramble results? I haven't seen this...and i would have to agree, they are not the least bit helpful about anythting.

but are you annoyed that sgu posted the match list on the website? if so, i really don't know why- i'm sure most of us here would give some credit to the reputation that sgu has made over the years for the strong list that is appearing....i know some of the places i received interviews from sgu and ross were the only caribbean schools represented.

folks, this place is to list sgu matches. Please stay on topic and dont get drawn into rhetorical debates.

One thing i noticed in its early stages, Texas has been very well represented. That is great news. Somebody even got anesthesiology at UTSW!!
