Question confused...global scholars program??

Hi everyone,

So I recently applied to SGU and I just got a call from an admissions adviser today regarding the Global Scholars Program. While she said she's passed on my application (for Grenada campus) to the admissions committee, she wanted to give me some info on the Global Scholars Program...

I tried searching up the program on SGU website and all it says it that its basically the EXACT same program in Grenada except the first year will be in the UK and that the second year will be in Grenada. Is this really true? I just feel like there might be a catch that I am not aware about... Will I be as competitive for the same US clinicals if I do the Global Scholars Program as opposed to 2 years in Grenada? Does anyone know the pros/cons of the two programs?

Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Thank you!

see other thread

Please go to the next page and read the thread: "What's so Good about the Global Scholars Program?" http://www.valuemd.com/st-georges-un...s-program.html

Since many have already replied there, I'd suggest seeing if your questions aren't already answered there-- and if not, post your questions there rather than starting another thread here. I'd also suggest responders post over there rather than here, so as to not divide up the threads.
