Hey, its def not "tough" to get into the premed SGU program but it would be nice to have above a 2.8 GPA when applying. I would listen to what everyone else has mentioned. It is def costly. I did 2 years of premed for certain reasons and the situation I was in. I enjoyed it and had a great experience from it. So literally its up to you. I mean hey if you have $15,000 for each premed term, then go for it. But I would say it was A LOT of money to pull out. If you are so curious to find out, you should just apply, see what happens, and go from there. Have any questions, feel free to PM me.

I've been reading alot about the different schools, and feel like I'm sold on SGU compared to other options in the caribbean. I was wondering if I were to apply after three years at a good US institution, and taking all the same classes as the first three at SGU premed. Would I recieve a ** degree as well upon completion of the first year of Medical School at SGU?

no. as far as i know, sgu doesnt have any association to grant a US B.S. deg in the situation you described. beside why would you want a sgu B.S. anyway, just finish your 4 yrs at US
