I am scheduled to take the MCAT in two weeks. I have an average practice score of 25 (which I know could be different than how I score on the actual exam).

Overall gpa 3.27
Science gpa 3.25

Lots of extracurriculars, volunteer, research, LORs etc.

I am applying for the January 09 term and hope my scores are enough to get me accepted...What do you think? Will I qualify for an interview? I hope to have my application complete by the end of May. Thanks in advance for the advice/opinions.

A 26 should make you competitive and my guess is that an MCAT as low as 24 will still get you interviewed, though maybe for FOM. Just guessing based on admission stats.

Check it out yourself

It's a shame that you didn't take the mcat and apply to US schools or SGU for basic science, with your stats you would have been competitive. Why not take it now (if required) and apply to NY schools (if it's NY rotations you are after) and SGU.

It would be interesting to see if SGU would make an exception if your Step score was as impressive as your gpa.

You need to do real well on your MCAT. 25 may not do it - at least 27 or more.
