I applied to Ross and SGU for Fall 2008 admission. I applied to both schools in July and was accepted at Ross in November but I've decided not to go to Ross.

For SGU I was interviewed in November, asked to send in my fall 2007 grades in January and still haven't heard anything regarding my application. It's been 5 1/2 months so I'm getting a little bit agitated. I will probably call someone higher up when I get back from my conference.

I agree you definitely should have heard an answer by now, almost 3 months after you sent the updated transcript they requested. I agree with getting a hold of someone in charge.

Oh man, research. I've worked at 3 diff research internships/jobs during undergrad so far and it seems like the Lab Techs with like associates degrees and the Post-Docs are all the same, I mean their salaries are like $5,000 apart and the 35 year old Post-Docs don't seem to be shooting up any research "corporate ladder", I'd prob rather be a male nurse with Gaylord Focker than work in research

eh...I've been kicking major butt in the field of research...lots of publications and awards. I don't mind doing it for another year...but definitely not something I want to do for the rest of my life :-)
