Post "What are My Chances?" Here ONLY

I am very interested in attending St. George.
I do not have a B.S. degree but have 206 units of college units.
I have earned Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) degree and a licensed pharmacist in the state of michigan.
    My stats are as follows:
    Pre-requisite GPA: 3.25
    Pharmacy GPA: 3.03
    Math/Science GPA: 3.25
Been in Active Duty for a few years and served as the Assistant chief, Department of pharmacy for a Military facility.
I have not taken the MCAT due duty but will do so ASAP once back in the States. Officer in Charge for Inpatient pharmacy for 2 years and Served as the Recorder and Coordinator of Medication Use Evaluation Committee for the Hospital.
Well, that is some of my stats and info.
Anyone willing to comment on my chances of admission at SGU is welcomed (Positive or Negative)
    Thanks,

If SGU does that then it would bring my GPA down. But I'm not sure if they do that? If you retake a class do they just consider your best grade when calculating the science GPA or do they count both?
So it's like you Withdrew? I don't know why any school would count that as an F. Doesn't make any sense to me. I don't think SGU would do it that way... they tend to be a tad more lax. Considering you applied rather late for Aug, you may be delayed to the Jan class. I think you are a good candidate, but your timing is the bigger factor.

Yeah I was thinking my timing would really hurt me. But I was waiting for my MCAT scores before applying. And I just got them back on June 12th. I did speak to an admissions counselor who encouraged me to apply. I'm hoping to get in for the August semester but I'll be still be happy if I get in for the January semester. And thanks for the help.

Hey guys, I was wondering if I could get some input on my chances to get an interview at SGU. my GPA is 2.96 from a top 20 university, and i'll be graduating with a degree in biology. I've shadowed a physician for 60 hours, volunteered at a local community center for over 400 hours, leadership positions, upward trend in my grades, 3 years of research experience with a presentation, and an award based on that (research was social neuroscience, and I did a lot of independent work). Also EMT certified. I just recently took my MCAT, so I'm awaiting those scores still. What should I shoot for?

What are my chances for an interview at SGU and acceptance too? Thanks guys.

Trolling disqualifies you from getting a legit reply. Have a nice weekend.

If this is for January, you should be good.

I appled to US programs and have been wait listed for 2 cycles at several schools, so I am going to go the Caribbean MD route. Sgu is my choice provided I am accepted. I scored a 33P on the mcat and have a cum gpa of 3.9, my science gpa is 3.85, numerous relevant clinical EC's, about 1000 hospital and clinic volunteer hrs and research. I sincerely want to get in, what are my chances of doing so, and provided I am accepted, what is my shot at a scholarship if anyone has any idea?

You'll get in. You automatically get 1/3 tuition scholarship for your gpa and MCAT > 3.7 and 29 respectively. There's an additional scholarship that isn't automatic, but is granted to those with good academic history. So you're looking at AT LEAST 1/3 tuition scholarship, with a possible additional merit scholarship, not including a few other need based scholarships you can apply for.

How could you not get in with a 3.9 33? have you considered DO? Me personally prefer caribbean over DO, I believe its what you make of it. SGU is a good school. should def get in.
