Hey, we've talked before but I would ideally like the 2nd option you mentioned with MD/MPH dual degree program but am willing to do MPH first and then MD if I don't get in. My MCAT is 31. if i recall you haven't completed all your pre-reqs, right? sgu does have a post bac program that allows a person to complete those and if they maintain something like a 3.5 and do well on the internal exam they get a spot in the MD program...the MPH to MD program and the foundations programs are usually for someone who has completed their pre-reqs.
i usually advise students to do their pre-reqs in the US in a US post bac program that give them a chance to get into a US school 1st...if they do get into a US school, then yay! and if not sgu will be here in 1-2 yrs and doing well in the post bac program will only strengthen their application...
good for you for doing more research on options out there...sgu does have a number of ways to get into and through the MD program.
