Does anyone know how long the wait list is up to. I interviewed on April 15th still waiting to here back.

Your interview was on March 31st, I interviewed on March 3rd and have yet to hear back. Everything was complete prior to my interview. Not to happy to read the rumors that the class is 'full,' and still waiting for a response from my counselor. No rhyme or reason to this process.

Ouch, that's really tough. I'm getting worked up enough over waiting this long and you've been waiting/watching others get accepted quickly for twice my time....we can hope that we'll at least get on the waitlist soon!

Yeah, I hope so too. I do want to confirm that a wait list has been started for August 2008. My counselor said it started 2 days or so ago. Unfortunately, my counselor was not willing to say how long the wait list is.

Is this kinda early for the waitlist to come out or is this when it usually does?

I was told a couple months ago, by my counselor, that I've got nothing to worry about -- the class won't be filled up until early summer. I expressed concern because my first interviewer kept postponing my interview dates and I wanted to make sure that I still had a chance to be considered. It is pretty clear now that my concerns have come true.

Just something to point out to everyone, I wasn't a 'late applicant.' I submitted my application back in September 2007, and all the documents (i.e. MCATS, transcripts, LORs, application) were confirmed complete within two weeks. There were a lot of problems with my first interviewer, as I already explained, which really slowed down my application. Take my advice, apply early to SGU. I applied almost 11 months before the August 2008 class started and it is still on going.

Looks like last year the waitlist started around the third week of May. I had been told by the admissions department that the class doesn't usually fill up until the middle or end of May, so it was depressing hearing the news that this year the waitlist started on April 30....

My counselor had told me the waitlist wouldn't start until early June, but when I called her today she said it already did for the Grenada program. I kinda pushed her if it really meant that I could only make it to the waitlist now even if I was accepted and that there were absolutely NO seats left...her answer was vague.."we'll have to wait and see what the committee decides, there are some seats left.it all depends on what the committee decides"........so i dunno if "full" class really means full at this point
