Does anyone know the percentage of interviewees that get accepted? Is the interview just a formality to make sure you're not crazy, or do the candidates get thrown into a pot to be reviewed again? How long does it take to hear back form SGU if you are accepted or not?

I hope they do not throw us back to be reviewed again! I have been waiting since my interview on Oct. 20. No word back as of now. From what i hear, I think they interview about 60% of applicants, and from that 60%, they accept about 40%. I know its only been 11 days since my interview but I am anxious to know the fate of my future. Has ANYBODY been accepted for August 2008 yet?

Sure, I got a 29P MCAT (10V, 9PS, 10**) , 3.47 Total, 3.4 Science with a pretty good trend (did pretty poorly freshman year). Hope this helps

Hey guys, I am a fellow Aug 08 applicant. I am awaiting my interview to be scheduled. I applied to the Big 4, so far granted interviews at all but AUC (haven't heard anything yet, my file took forever to complete). My stats are low, I have about a 2.8 cum GPA, Science is around 3.2ish and a 27Q. I am hoping that the fact that I have been an Army officer for the last 4 years will help, along with some retaken pre-req classes (in which I have gotten all A's), strong LOR's, and a good amount of real word clinical experience in Iraq will help me out a bit.
