I feel the exact same, this was by far the most pleasant application experience I have had to any school.

haha yeah nice catch with that, and i think if you better stats that'll expedite the process a bit too... If you don't mind me asking Vanilla, what are yours?

No problem I dont mind answering at all, my gpa was right around 3.4 for both bcpm and overall, but I had a huge upward trend of 3.9+ for my last two years and a 30 mcat, 8,10,12 breakdown.

My friend is finally going to have his interview nextweek sometime and he has about the same gpa and a 28 mcat.

Hi there, this is encouraging to see.

I am applying in Canada this year, but I thought I'd apply to a few Carribean schools as well. My gpa is 3.7, mcat 10b,10v,9p. Are there many seats left in the new class, and are there any resources available for current level of competition to get admission?

Your stats are above the average of 3.4 gpa and 26-27 mcat and as far as I know there are many seats left. You have a very good shot at acceptance. Unless, during your interview you say that you like to torture kittens as your main source of entertainment or something, haha.

Applied last year with 3.8 GPA and 31R MCAT. Got an interview in Atlanta and it was unbelievably relaxed. I recommend if possible to try to get an interview in Atlanta on the off chance you get the same doctor I did (don't remember his name). Granted acceptance and asked for deferred admission for August 2008. Looks like I'll be going, Good luck to everyone!

I know.. but I've been rejected two years in arrow to about 20 schools total (10 schools each year). Didn't even get a single interview... AND I have both clinical and research experience. Oh well, sometimes its just bad luck I suppose...
