I'm a current GSP student and will be in Grenada in January. I'd like to live off-campus but don't have a great sense for what the various apartments are like down there. I came across one called Lance Aux Epines Apartments (Grenada Apartments Long & Short Term in Lance Aux Epines - close to Medical School SGU) that seems pretty decent, but I'd like to hear from people that have lived there or at least seen it. General feedback about off-campus housing would also be appreciated. Thanks a bunch!

These apartments are awesome (a friend and his wife lived there), but it is really expensive if their prices are the same. It's right on the street. Apartments are very nice, can't comment on the landlords other than that the wife runs an (almost) on-site beauty parlor.

Never known anyone who lived there, but they seem pretty nice. It is literally right on the bus route either into or out of LAE (so your chances of missing the bus may diminish slightly).

Also, almost right next door to Choo Light (chinese food of low cost and ok quality), the Red Crab (higher end restaurant, only eaten there once, many seem to like it), and Kudos (haven't eaten there since they got new ownership but is also a bar/nightclub and can get quite loud on Fri and Sat). I used to hear Kudos from my apt about 150 yards from these apartments. The noise seemed to mainly be on fridays though...also, lots of traffic in this area on Friday nights.

Know your food supply

I don't know much about LAE, but in Grand Anse (also on the bus route) is the La Marquise apartments (colloquially known as the "Round Houses"). They are 1 bedroom studios in a nice area, safe, and tons of SGU students live there. Sorry I don't have any contact info off-hand, but if you like you can PM me and I'll check out their office for you. These apts. are right up the road from me.
