2008 Accepted GSP Students

Hello all....I couldnt find a forum so im creating this one because i have a few questions from people who are already in the Global Scholars Program or have been accepted to it.

Does anyone know if CA has said anything about approving the GSP Program?

How do they teach anatomy in NorthUmbria without a med school? Do they have Cadavers and the facilites?

Congrats to all who are accepted and good luck to those who are applying.

1. Nope nothing yet

2. We have plasticized cadavers (So far we've had upper limbs, hearts, lungs, spinal cords, and abdomens delivered to us), that we examine in a pretty nice and new Anatomy lab. The room is pretty bright and the professors are very helpful, but I'd rather experience real cadavers.

Wow, plasticized cadavers; that makes me feel better about not being able to dissect cadavers here in GND.

From SoCal, Los Angeles area originally, but right now I'm living in Manhattan until the program starts. Which part of CA are you from?

Hey Athena!
Thanks!
No I'm sorry i don't know, although I'm pretty sure, like before this August when they had seats until end of June, they should have seats available until the end of November. Good luck!
