Thread: School Address?

Anyone know the school's address in Grenada?
And address for Grand Anse Dorm/Hall?

schools address from as I know it is...

St.Georges University SOM(school of medicine) or SVM(vet) or SAS (arts and science)
P.O box 7
St.Georges, Grenada
West Indies

I know that they told us to use this address until we got our own box at the school mail room. So that box number would go on the 1st line after either SOM,SVM or SAS.

if you use fedex, they will NOT deliver anythingto a PO BOX, so you can just leave that out of the address. dont worry, there is only 1 SGU in GND, so the mail wont get lost.

also obviously include your name and current program and term you are enrolled in, when you get to SGU, you will be given a mailbox number, then you will include that in also. but if you use fedex never put down the word "box" b/c they wont ship it for some reason.

ex. instead of writing john smith SOM term 1 box#1234; just write john smith SOM term 1 #1234

I asked my admissions counselor and she said when shipping just send it to

St.Georges, Grenada

So how does this work with FedEx?
Do they ship to the school or do u pick it up at their FedEx location?
Regardless do you just put the new address down and keep on checking with FedEx until it comes?

Most importantly how do they notify you that your package has arrived?

They will notify you when your package arrives, which only takes 1-3 Days for it to get to the island. You can either pick it up at the Fed-ex location or send a courier (I recommend going yourself).

Also for the address it is True Blue, Grenada, West Indies (do not abbreviate WI)

How will they notify you if your a first termer...

you get a notice in your mailbox.

if you dont have a mailbox, then just go to the mailroom when you expect your package to arrive and tell them that you are expecting a package from so-and-so carrier and give them your school ID. otherwise when you register you should be given a mailbox number and the combo that goes with it to receive any school mail and notices
