GSP New Jersey and California Licensing Issues

I just wanted to start this its own thread. I heard through the grapevine that right now SGU is on a conference call with CA, and that we should all know more tonight. Here's hoping!

So is there any development.. You know what i find interesting, is that they knew these problems all along correct? and yet suddenly the last couple of days they been work to fix em? only after the fact people like me called them up to ask them what is the deal? for some reason i don't think they are on any phones or anything of this kind. i think they are just blowing smoke up our so that we can simmer down. its not like they can persuade the states to change their laws when it comes to issuing a medical licenses. that is unless there are some legal loop polls.. please correct me if im wrong

Basically the deal is that NJ and CA are "reviewing" the GSP program. Some students have said that the CA board told them that when/if it is approved, it will not be retroactive, so if you go before the approval of the program, you will not be able to practice in CA. Maybe it will all go quickly and the program will be approved by Jan.? I'm not sure. If you don't want to practice in NJ or CA, then its no big deal, head off to the UK.

The person I spoke with said those two states (NJ & CA) were the only ones with issues. All other states are "fine". Still, I guess you never really know 100%.
