The person who emailed me from the Board didn't make any claims about retroactivity, one way or another. She only said that it is something that's decided at the final decision point, and when I spoke to her, they were nowhere close to that stage.

When SABA was approved by the Board, didn't they put a limit on retroactivity? The approval was retroactive, but upto a point.

Actually, the person who I spoke with is also listed on VMD as a representative of the Cali Medical Board.

Maybe if they get a chance, they might drop by and visit this thread

Well I hope they figure this out soon.

California is a big state, and NJ takes a lot of SGU students... so its important.


PS. Now one of the moderates is going to come on here, telling me how its not the school but the student's responsibility....

This only affects the GSP program right? Are SGU regular grads still approved in all 50 states?

OKay.. so how long has it been? does anyone have any news with regard sot an "offical" statement from SGU regarding the matter? You know this whole issue is upsetting. The counsler isnt responding to my emails and the school has yet to address the issue directly.. anyone else out here fustrated?

I think they are working on the problem. Not sure when and how we will hear back. Let's hope for the best as I really don't want to change my plans again. If anyone else has heard anything, please share.

I agree with Haterade. SGU has historically responded ethically. Lets give them some time to address the issue.
