All the best.

Oh good to know...thank you very much for the advice!! I will definitely look more into that...

Hey everyone. So I applied for Jan 08 and had an interview on Nov 26th. I Found out a few days ago I was accepted but waitlisted for Jan (telling them I was accepted into Ross and a Polish Uni def helped the process I think).
Does anybody know how the waitlists work? I have heard it's not first-come-first serve.... but if you don't get in for Jan, are you automatically given a seat for the following term? It's getting kind of late and as much as I'd like to start in Jan 08, things sure feel rushed.

I beleive that you will automatically get a seat for the next term if you do not make it off of the waitlist. You may be able to start in Jan. if you are interested in going to the UK campus (GSP program). They may still have seats available.

Anyone know what classes we take in our first term on the island. Just trying to look around and find support texts.

You don't necessarily get offered a seat for the following term just because you are waitlisted. I was told by my admissions counselor that the board reviews your file if you are not moved of the waitlist, then makes the decision on whether or not to make you apply again or offer you a seat in the following term. She said it just depends on how competitive of a file you have.

Then again, she doesn't sit in on the board sessions, so who knows? Maybe everything I just said is garbage. But hopefully it's salvageable.

really? see my admissions counsellor told me on tuesday that i would get a seat automatically for Aug 08 if i remained on the Jan waitlist and didn't get a spot for the jan 08 class. and she also said that it could be anytime up to a week before orientation-week before finding out if i can actually attend jan 08. i'm almost tempted to call and tell them to push it to Aug, but then i have to start the whole process all over again and i don't think me asking to defer guarantees a seat. ahh choices... it's so hard.
