510 points I think you will have no problem getting in to the pre-med program. They most certainly will consider your high school grades (since most applicants to the program won't have a bachelor's degree). Also, having higher education will give you a major advantage.
As for the personal statement, look online. There are many sites describing how to write an effective statement. Templates will make you sound cheesy. It would be good practice for you to come up with one for your own. After all, you're gonna be writing personal statements for years to come (residency, fellowships, ect...)
