Do you mean students at the Newcastle Uni or just UK students in general?

510 points Yeh, the Newcastle uni..
I guess a better question would have been, when the breaks are and how long they are.. and that would probably apply to all SGU students since the programs are parallel...
"Everything except the location will be essentially the same: the curriculum, academic calendar, services, fees, and access to campus student life facilities (gyms, dining halls, libraries, playing fields, etc.)."

510 points yeah, i think the breaks are the same (although i think grenada had a day off for the country's national holiday?). one weekend i went to edinburgh, scotland for the day when my girlfriend came to visit. about 20 of us went to dublin for a 24 hour visit for st. patrick's day. other students have visited other locations as well. the biggest break though is for the easter weekend; no classes on the friday and monday of easter weekend. not sure yet what the breaks are for the fall term. you can always time a trip right after an exam week, or when your course load is lighter. histology lab might get in the way though, since it is on fridays, in the afternoon. i'm sure many of us will also use our newcastle residence as a base for european travels during the summer (in between terms).
