Deposit

Is the $4,000 deposit go towards the tuition or is it just another deposit?

Pretty sure it is deducted from your tuition. You can request it be taken out of your loan money, that is if you are using loans to fund your education. Hope this helps.

American Airlines and Air Canada were the cheapest flights I saw. I'm

My admissions adviser mentioned something about American Airlines giving a student discount on plane flights...you hear anything like this?? Also, did you compare flights arriving in London versus Newcastle???

flyglobespan had awesome deals for anyone in canada...but the only prob is you have to buy a one-way...which I didn't feel so comfortable with.

I am not sure about the AA student discount, but that would be cool if you look into it.

I compared a lot of diff flights and spent a week looking for the best deal...but prices are goin up REALLY quick. It was def a lil more pricy to fly to ncl (newcastle) than heathrow..but it might be worth it if you are looking at convenience cause you're gonna have to drag your lugg to the tube that you take from heathrow to newcastle. But it might be cheaper to fly to ncl from wherever you are flying from.

so I'm getting my immunizations done; i've got my passport; gonna buy a laptop soon, ask SGU to take the $4000 from my loan....what else needs to be taken care of? would that be a bad idea to buy the air ticket a couple of days before I fly?

Also, did you guys apply for the UK visa?
