should i memorize the tracks in neuro?
Oh hell yes!!!!!!!!!!!!!
That is just about one of the most important things you can learn for now and in the future (well as far into the future as I've gotten).
Blood supply is important too. And I'd definitely recommend having a good knowledge of where nerves exit and enter from.

okay wait i asked my question incorrectly
what i wanted to ask was should i memorize the route of the tracks?
Knowing what crosses where will make it easy to identify what occurs in a lesion at a particular level.

521 points know where it crosses, know the general route a tract takes (where it starts, crosses, where it synapse to a second or third neuron, and of course where it ends up)

Not for SGU's exams. SGU's exams are a lot more specific based on my USMLE prep from Kaplan Q Bank and USMLEWorld e.g. you don't need to know the origins, etc. of the tracts.
