Thread: My Room Assignment Question?

Ok , my room assignment is

Room Type SD-4 Triple...

Bayshore told my its your own room/bath and your share a kitchen...

Why do I hear from here that it is SHARED bath/kitchen...something is not right.

Also if it is a triple why does my memorandum have only one roomate?

Does this mean there is an extra room?

I am very confused here. What is the layout of a triple?

Plus my roomy is from some unknown place in Canada (Sashswash?)

As far as I know, a triple means there are three seperate bedrooms and you share a bathroom and kitchen with the two other people. Just call Bayshore if it does not make sense!

If you only have one roommate, you only have one roommate. You might get one more in the future, you might not. It's a crazy world.

The layout of a triple, if it's essential to your knowing, is door which opens up into a kitchen/hallway with the bathroom down one end. Off the kitchen are three bedrooms individually.

Do you prefer an American roommate? Or just a non-Canadian? I'm sure if there's circumstances in your past that cause you to be in conflict with your neighbours from the North, something can be arranged.

HAHA I am totally calm... Just confused b/c Bayshore told me in an email I was in a quad with own room and bathroom so as you can see yea I might have a little issue with contradicting messages.

Second I have no problem with a canadian. I have met many different people from many different cultures.

And or you from Scotland. I dated a scottish gal from Elie, FIFE however Scotland origanizes there villiages or whatever. She went to aberdeen Uni.

She was quite the um well I wont get into that but u know how the Scots can be.

If they stuck you in a QUAD (which is different from if they told you you'd get your own bathroom in a triple), you should probably respond via e-mail and find out. Actually, if I were you, I wouldn't say anything at all, because a Quad is immensely better than a Triple, so consider yourself lucked out.

Second, it's okay not to like Canadians, no one's judging you here.

Third, I lived in Scotland for a bit. I'll have you know that Fife isn't a village but actually a kingdom, and also quite beautiful.

And lastly, I don't know how the Scots can be, can you please elaborate for me, and if you use any references from that forsaken Braveheart movie, I'll put you on the list.

Gforce, you have to find out what dorm you got, if it's a quad then yes you will have your own bathroom, if it's a triple then you wil share a bathroom. Also it's very common for a room to have an empty bedroom, it will either get filled later or it will stay empty the entire term.

ohh also either way you look at it. Gforce you lucked out, because having a triple or a quad is a lot better than living in a double!

unless its the quad in sd3, where there are 4 ppl, 4rooms, but 2 bathrooms

that is odd if you were assiagned the 4 single with its own bathroom, because all of those were filled and those type of rooms are very popular.

if you are really in those, cool. and if there is a vacant room, it will be filled.
