    Thumbs down Disorganization

Why is it that SGU finds it so hard to stay organized. Every single semester it is the same story....I find myself faxing, mailing and e-mailing the same forms over and over again.....and then I STILL get emals telling me that they don't have my this, this and that! I DON'T understand how this university is still running when they cannot keep track of any documentation sent to them. FRUSTRATION! I am not looking forward to clinicals...I can only imagine what a mess that will be.

mail with return receipt..it costs a little more money but it is piece of mind..and if anything happens you can show the signed receipt

hey! the guy gave you a good suggestion - you never said you tried that- maybe its just you - the school may ask for the same form (ie that stupid health form - like my insurance has changed!), but when I send it, they get it- maybe YOU are using the wrong number or address.

send it fed ex if it really bugs you - same fortune but then you have a signature

    Nice attitude.

Why the sarcasm? As rokshana pointed out, it was a good suggestion and YOU never said you'd done it. Some people just don't deserve help.

I've never had a problem with SGU not receiving anything except for once asking for some vaccination record that they'd already acknowledged having received in the past. I pointed that out to them and it was corrected.

The fact that I went the length to actually post about the organization suggests that I have tried all sorts of things and they don't seem to work.

For three semesters now, it is the same thing...things missing.
For everyone who responded and never had a problem...good for you....you seem to be the lucky ones...I know at least 4 other people to whom this happens as well...
The point is that there is a lot of disorganization and it is frustrating.
As for the sarcasm...I find it really useless for someone who does not go to SGU or has been in the situation to make any sort of smart a** suggestions

    Not to me it didn't.

Well I'm sorry to hear that. I do understand because the school does frustrate me sometimes in many other areas.

    I understand that.

I still think it was uncalled-for. Who cares is said person doesn't go to SGU and, in any case, I don't think it was smart-a**ed.

Whatever. Good luck getting your stuff sorted out.

PS When I sent in my forms, there was an option to fax them in. Maybe you'll have better luck with that.

Thanks....I hope it gets sorted too...

If you carefully read my first post....I mailed, faxed AND e-mailed the forms.....THAT is why it is even more frustrating....
to give you an idea of how bad it is....I have been a student since last year and yesterday I got an email telling me they are missing my AKNOWLEGEMENT form....***??? I also got an email telling about my "new" email account...they realized an hour later that it was not new afterall....
I did not realize that we had to tell Bayshore every single semester that we have been students for a while now....

if you're going to be rude and not listen to what people have to say why post on here? IF you say you tried everything there is nothing anyone else can sugest, so that's another reason for you not to post. I haven't had a problems with the school's administration, and know atleast 30 other people who haven't had a problems either. Maybe it's your attitude that causes you these problems. I know that if you're rude to the housing people they will bump you off the waiting list, and I am sure that's how things work with other administrative departments.
Try being nice to them, for ones.
