The option to create a poll is on the same page where you fill out the info to create a thread but you have to scroll down into the Additional Options section and check the box that says "Yes, post a poll with this message." Attached is a screenshot of what you're looking for.

It is helpful to have an extra person (or persons) to help with the transition to Island Life...

Translation: every takes FOREVER to do...shopping, getting a cell phone, setting up internet, etc., etc.

Having parents or friends - with a car - during the first few days is a HUGE help when getting set up.

Someone will meet you at the airport (taxis are expensive) with a car for the parental/friend visit.

Wouldn't they need a Grenada driver's license though?

You can get a temp driver's license from a rental agency for a fee. Forget how much though.
