Thread: How much is a new mattress in Grenada?

Hi,
I will be living off campus from August. But, when I checked out ~11 apartments, only 1 or 2 had a decent mattress. Most of them were quite worn out and I felt every spring digging into me. But for 500-600$US, I can not complain too much…

But, having a good night sleep is very important to me, especially I have bad back. So, I want to get a new mattress when I move into my new apartment.

Where can I get one????? And how much for what kind of quality?? Certainly, I am not looking for Serta quality, but I would like to get a good mattress so that I won’t have a stiff neck in the morning.

Please let me know !!!!!!!

Spiceland Mall has a store thats sells bed matresses, sheets, and that stuff. Also the hardware store has cheap flate ware that can be diposed of when you leave (or handed sown)

price..expect to pay a hefty amount. ok maybe not hefty but you will definately be shock at the price. most things in gnd are on the high end of the price range

Just bring an inflatatable doll err... mattress down if you're back is that bad. It'd be a helluvalot easier and cheaper. Better yet, get one of those fluffy bed top thingies that fits over the top of the mattress. I have no idea what they are called. You'll live.

OP: bring one of those egg crate things, they work really well. They look like those egg holders at the supermarket...target, walmart, etc will have it.

I'm sure that Courts (near the Spiceland mall) would carry them, but there are a number of furniture stores in downtown St. George that I'm sure would sell them for much cheaper. Plus, I know they do delivery because I've seen a couple of trucks driving around with new mattresses!
