With the number of VPs and schedules that had to be juggled, the admin up in Vinnies did a great job.

Agreed. Considering the number of VP's, scheduling was largely successful. Give the guy scheduling all the VP's props as he really does try his best to get everything in order.

Yes, the classes can be easier but just a warning not to underestimate the term. There is a LOT of material covered in pathophys and there are a LOT of drugs in pharm. Not everyone is superstudent (not implying you Saora1

) so just a warning. It is still possible to do poorly or outright fail in St. Vincent's.

There are 4 hours of lectures every day (with only a few exceptions). Most of it is pathophys. It is often the case that you will get 2 hours of pharm followed by 2 hours of pathophys and as the term progresses, it'll mostly be 1 hour pharm and 3 hours of pathophys or simply 4 hours of pathophys. In the end, there will be over 200 hours of pathophys lectures. There are some topics that only require a handful of lectures and other topics that will require at least 14 hours of lecture. So, yes, there are plenty of hours to go around for the 24 VP's. Some complain about the VP's, and depending on the VP, I concur with the complaints, but for the most part, the VP's were good (I believe better than the path lecturers) so even if you aren't a class goer, I'd suggest going to some of the classes just to listen to the prof.

Hospital scheduling can get bad if you pick the wrong day. They typically have lots of staff meetings on Tuesdays so people in that group tend to have lots of changes in the schedule. So, if you pick the right day, scheduling is pretty easy. I got lucky with the scheduling and I had only 1 or 2 days where there were "staff meetings" or something. I took it easy and only went to the ones that we were scheduled for (with a few exceptions in which I went in extra time) and still came out with a few extra scheduled ones that I could skip. We were required to go to the hospital 20 times. Hint for those incoming folks, be respectful to the doctors, nurses, and sgu secretary when rescheduling stuff or trying to get in extra days. These people have lives and while they're largely willing to let you work with them, don't ruin it for everyone else by being punks. As far as the number of people, 4-5 people is just about right. A small group is easier to coordinate rescheduling. They won't let you go with more than 5 people no matter what.
