Interesting. I really did not know that.

And I think "a bit" is a serious understatement. It's slowed down drastically.

But back on topic now - go SGU!

I wonder what's up with adding a "special 1st term this summer"? How is that going to play out when they have to advance? Do they join the 2nd term in August making a large class even bigger?

My own class is having issues with Pathology, for example, and we've had to add extra seating in Bourne. Dr. B seems a little concerned about exam conditions although I'm sure it might have been the same for recent terms e.g. last year. But each incoming class is larger than the next and what will happen if/when the current 1st term gets even just 25 more students in it by term 2?

Dean Lambert,

Very nice offer. I'm sure it's greatly appreciated by students who are impacted by this unfortunate turn of events.

Dear Saora,
Thank you for posing a key question. As stated in my original post, SGu's first duty is to our students and our graduates. We will not compromise the academic integrity of our program. At the present time, we have no idea how many, if any, of the St. Christopher students are interested in beginning again at SGU. If there is a significant number and we determine to aid these students, please be assured that we will not simply add them to our existing classes. We are considering many options of separate tracks, including the utilization of other campuses.

Just curious, how would you know the accuracy, or how come you are privy to this info?

I hope this doesn't mean full-tuition waiver because it wouldn't be fair to the current SGU students. St-Chris students are paying peanuts to their school compare to what SGU students are paying.....
